"Absolutely worth it! Quite an expensive place, but really worth a visit. The butter fish was amazing, and the whole dining experience felt special. The chef Agung personally came to the table, it’s clear that this place and the people mean a lot to him. He was so kind, took time to explain each dish in detail, and even offered me one of their desserts to try — which was wonderful! And didn’t mentioned the top place for sunset! Great food, great atmosphere, and people who genuinely care about what guests think. I had such a lovely dinner there — thank you for making it memorable!"

"This is my fourth visit, and I usually order the mixed grilled seafood. However, last night I decided to try something different for my main course. I always start with the grilled octopus, which was perfect this time—much better than last year, with less oil. For my main, I had the lobster and seafood pasta, and I was truly amazed; it was so incredibly delicious that I couldn't stop eating it."

"The food is of absolutely fantastic quality. We had lunch and dinner here, and we came back several times. The seafood is amazingly delicious. We had maki-maki, king crab, salmon, tuna, squid, octopus. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! What they grilled and what they baked was also delicious. Their coffee is delicious, the service is impeccable. A perfect combination of cozy bamboo furniture, warm lighting, and a relaxed beachfront atmosphere.. The view is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset when the sky turns shades of orange, pink, and purple. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and making the dining experience feel enjoyable. My favorite highlight was their Lobster BBQ , truly the star of the show. Perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor, served with just the right sides to make the dinner even more special. The atmosphere becomes even more magical in the evening, with great music, a relaxed vibe, and a perfect location right on the beach. Overall, Papaya Beach Club is a must-visit spot for a memorable sunset dinner on Gili Air. The combination of its location, service, and food quality makes me want to come back again.
